Privacy Policy.

Version 1.3. Effective October 2, 2026.

The short version: we collect what we need to run Loopi, protect it like it's ours, don't sell it to anyone, and delete it when you ask.

1. Who we are

Loopi, Inc. (“Loopi,” “we,” “us”) is a Delaware C-Corporation. This policy describes how we handle personal data when you use our mobile app, website, and related services (the “Services”).

2. What we collect

Account information

Your first name, your email address, and your date of birth. We use the date of birth to confirm you are 18 or over.

We do not collect your Social Security number, a government-issued ID, or a photo of one, and we do not collect a phone number. Loopi does not open brokerage accounts, so the identity checks required under Know-Your-Customer and Anti-Money-Laundering rules are carried out by the brokerage you connect, under its own policy, not by us.

Your preferences and your plan

Your experience level and risk preference, the companies and topics you follow or save, your squad username and which squads you are in, and your answers to the short plan questions in the app. Those questions cover things like whether you have an emergency fund, whether you carry expensive debt, and how steady your income is. Answering them is optional, and you can change or clear your answers in the app at any time.

Financial information

Brokerage holdings, balances, and transactions from the brokerage account you choose to connect (via our account-aggregation partner, SnapTrade), and the orders you place in Loopi. Your brokerage credentials are handled by SnapTrade and are never stored on our servers or visible to the app. Loopi never holds your cash or your securities. Your brokerage does.

Assistant connections

You can connect an AI assistant you already use, such as Meta Muse, Claude or ChatGPT, so that it can work with your Loopi account. When you do, we store a record of the connection (which assistant, when you connected it, and when it was last used) and a sign-in token for it, which we keep only in hashed form. The assistant can read your plan, your holdings, your balances and your Loopi activity, draft a plan from the answers you give it, propose trades, and ask Loopi to run the plan you signed. It cannot turn a plan on, approve a trade or change your limits; those happen only on our site, signed in as you. Your conversation with the assistant is handled by the assistant's provider under its own privacy policy, not by us. You can disconnect an assistant at any time on our site, which ends its access immediately.

Device & usage data

Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, and in-app events, all tied to a pseudonymous identifier, not your name. If you turn on notifications, we also store the push token your device gives us, so that we can deliver them.

In-app usage analytics

To improve the product, the app records engagement events such as which stocks you view, search, or save, and for how long. These events carry a per-session random token (no email, name, or account ID) and the raw event stream is automatically deleted after being folded into a weekly aggregate. This data is used only for app functionality and our own analytics; it is never used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites, and never shared with data brokers. You are shown a one-time notice about this in the app, and you can turn it off at any time in Profile → Privacy.

3. How we use it

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with companies that help us run the Services, and only with what they need to do their job. Loopi has no broker-dealer partner and does not send your order anywhere except to the brokerage you connected.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and none of it is used to target advertising to you.

5. How we keep it safe

No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated, and we'll tell you promptly if something goes wrong.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at privacy@loopi.company. We'll respond within 30 days.

You can opt out of in-app usage analytics at any time in Profile → Privacy inside the app, and everything else keeps working exactly the same.

7. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and your Loopi activity, and keep only what we still need in order to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or prevent fraud, and only for as long as that purpose requires. Device and usage data is kept for up to 24 months and is then deleted or fully anonymized.

The brokerage you connected keeps its own records of your account and your trades, on its own schedule and under the rules that apply to it. Deleting your Loopi account does not delete those.

8. Children

Loopi is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. International users

Loopi is operated from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from your country.

10. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. The “Effective” date at the top always reflects the current version.

What changed in version 1.3

This version adds assistant connections: what we store when you connect an AI assistant such as Meta Muse, Claude or ChatGPT, what the assistant can see and do, and how to disconnect it. It also describes plans with standing permission, under which Loopi places orders inside a plan you signed without a separate confirmation for each one, and the limits that apply to those orders.

What changed in version 1.2

This version corrects the document so that it describes what Loopi actually does. We removed Plaid and bank-account linking, which the product no longer uses. We removed the reference to a broker-dealer partner, which Loopi does not have. We made clear that identity verification is carried out by the brokerage you connect and that we do not collect a government-issued ID, a Social Security number or a phone number. We named the infrastructure and AI providers we genuinely use, and said what is sent to them. We described the preference and plan answers the app now collects. We corrected the retention section, which cited a rule that applies to broker-dealers and not to us. We also removed a claim about regular third-party security reviews, which we do not currently carry out.
